Jhené Aiko lived out one of her dreams, performing for the first time at Coachella on Sunday. The L.A. songstress was joined by some famous friends as she capped off the first weekend of the festival in the desert.

Backed by her suit-clad band and a string quartet, she opened her late-night set with “Bed Peace,” on which she was joined by Childish Gambino. She continued with more cuts off her Sail Out EP including “The Worst” and “Stay Ready,” plus covers of Tupac’s “Keep Ya Head Up” and Erykah Badu’s “On & On.”

The crowd went wild when Jhené’s “musical soulmate” Drake hit the stage for a surprise performance of “From Time,” their duet off his latest album Nothing Was the Same. The tourmates shared a warm embrace and some words.

“This is my first time at Coachella, by the way,” Drake told festivalgoers. “So I want to let you know that it’s a motherfuckin’ honor to be here with you tonight, and you better make some noise for Jhené one more time.”
