New Music: Chance the Rapper - 'Lady Friend'

Love is in the air. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Chance the Rapper and The Social Experiment dedicate a new song to their “Lady Friend.” The Chicago rapper sings about his female friend who’s not his girlfriend on the sweet tune, written, produced, and performed by Chance, Peter Cottontale, Nate Fox, and Donnie Trumpet.

“I’ve got a lady, and that lady is my friend,” says Chance, adding, “I’m your buddy, I’m your little bro / I’m a stuffed animal / I’m a cuddle, not a dildo / I’m a love anecdote.”

In between his studio sessions with André 3000, Frank Ocean, and J. Cole, Chance is working on Donnie Trumpet’s album Surf and can also be heard on “Iconic” off Madonna’s Rebel Heart.
