New Music: Fabolous - 'The B.A.S. Freestyle'

  /  03.07.2015

Fabolous takes it back to 1998 with his “B.A.S. Freestyle” featuring DJ Clue. In keeping with the ’90s theme of his latest album The Young OG Project, Loso rhymes over a sample of Dr. Dre’s The Chronic classic “Bitches Ain’t Shit,” and makes reference to DeJ Loaf (“All you ni**as is foul / Out here singin’ ‘Try Me’ and sendin’ ni**as to trial”) and Kobe Bryant (“I’m like Kobe after surgery, all you ni**as knowing at court, I’m the truth and these other ni**as perjury”).

Last month, Fab dropped a freestyle to Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” and he can also be heard on the remix to Ne-Yo’s “She Knows.”

Hear Fab’s ’90s flow below.
