  /  08.03.2015

Jill Scott is back on top. The Philly soulstress earns her second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Woman.

Scott’s fifth set enters at No. 1 with 62,000 equivalent album units (58,000 in pure sales). Woman follows 2011’s chart-topping The Light of the Sun, which opened with 133,000 copies.

According to Billboard, Scott becomes the first solo woman to have a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in nearly five months, following Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece album in March.

Last week’s No. 1, Future’s DS2, slides to No. 2 in its second week with 52,000 units, a decrease of 65 percent.

The Eminem-produced soundtrack to Southpaw rings in at No. 5 with 45,000 equivalent units (32,000 in pure sales). In addition to Em, the compilation features 50 Cent, Slaughterhouse, and The Weeknd.

Rounding out the top 10 is Meek Mill’s Dreams Worth More Than Money, which drops 7-8 with 31,000 units, while Tyrese’s Black Rose falls 3-10 with 26,000 units.
