Pharrell Williams Performs 'Freedom' at VMAs

While Miley was flashing and Nicki was twerking, Pharrell Williams brought “Freedom” to the 2015 VMAs. The music mastermind performed his liberating single on the outdoor stage in the middle of downtown L.A. As P rocked the mic, his Baes danced the night away and fireworks lit up the streets.

“They try to put us in a box, but we say no more,” Pharrell told the crowd of fans. “Tonight we change things. We will express ourselves and have a good time and let all that go.”
