Lira Galore Opens Up About Rick Ross Breakup

Rick Ross and Lira Galore called off their engagement last year. In a new interview, Rozay’s former fiancée opens up about her split with the MMG rapper, who she once predicted that she would marry.

A photo of her hugging Meek Mill back when she was an exotic dancer was at the center of the breakup. Although it was taken prior to her relationship with Ross, it was reposted on social media.

“I’m not worried about the picture with Meek,” Galore told Global Grind. “It was just a picture that I posted on my Instagram. I was at work, I used to dance, and it was just a picture.”

“I think the initial breakup was a combination of everything from people digging up tweets when I was 17 years old tweeting about different people, to the picture of Meek,” said Galore. “I went to [Ross’] tagged photos one day and it was only that picture of Meek, and it was just that photo. Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was just nothing. I feel like during that time apart he realized he was tripping, so we got back together.”

Rozay proposed to Galore with an 11-carat, $350,000 ring in September while they were jewelry shopping in New York, but he ended their engagement in November. The two got back together shortly after, but it wasn’t meant to be.

“We just decided to go our separate ways. I’m 22 and this was my first time in love and I put it out there,” she said. “I’m still in love with him, but some things don’t go as you would like them to go.”

For now, Galore is focused on her own ventures, which include a T-shirt collaboration with Popular Demand. “I’m fresh out of a breakup, so I’m not looking or worried about anybody right now. There were other things going on, so we parted.”
