Video: DJ Holiday & 2 Chainz - 'Wassup Wid It'
Nearly four months after dropping “Wassup Wid It,” DJ Holiday taps 2 Chainz for the song’s fire-filled video.
The clip begins at 4 a.m. in a suburban Atlanta neighborhood, where one man is kissing his wife, a few others are drinking and smoking, and elderly ladies are gossiping about it all. From there, Tity Boi and Holiday are joined by friends for an early morning block party.
Joined by his French bulldog Trappy, the Drench God dances on top of a squad car while fire surrounds him. Flames emanating from his head, Chainz is also accompanied by children, who dance along to his bars. Meanwhile, Holiday raps along.
“The ‘Wassup Wid It’ setting is easily any random ATL neighborhood,” DJ Holiday told The FADER. “[It has] nosey neighbors, random dudes outside smoking, and somebody creeping.”
“Wassup Wid It” is a single off Holiday’s upcoming project 4am in Decatur. “4am In Decatur is a masterpiece,” he said. “I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
Meanwhile, 2 Chainz is currently celebrating the success of Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
