New Music: Cardi B feat. SZA - 'I Do'

  /  04.07.2018

Cardi B’s Invasion continues. As part of her debut Invasion of Privacy, the Bronx bombshell teams up with SZA on the album closer, “I Do.”

Produced by Murda Beatz and CuBeatz, “I Do” works as an empowerment anthem. The TDE songstress handles the infectious chorus with her soulful vocals. “I do whatever I like / I do what I like,” she sings. Cardi B also opens up with her no-holds-barred approach. “I think us bad bitches is a gift from God,” she explains.

Later, Cardi B adds raunch, spice, and confident punchlines. “Now I’m a boss, I write my own name on the checks,” she explains. “Pussy so good, I say my own name during sex.”

Cardi B flexes on her doubters, as well, by flossing her staying power. “They said by now that I’ll be finished, hard to tell / My little 15 minutes lasted long as hell.” Finally, she offers some advice. “Here’s a word to my ladies, don’t you give these ni**as none / If they can’t make you rich or they can’t make you cum.”

“I Do” is an early fan favorite from Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy. Migos, Chance the Rapper, Kehlani, 21 Savage, YG, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin also appear on the album, which has already been certified gold.
