H.E.R. & Daniel Caesar Perform 'Best Part' on 'Kimmel'

  /  04.11.2018

While Normani and Khalid were on “The Tonight Show,” another dynamic R&B duo was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar teamed up to perform their “Best Part” collaboration on Tuesday’s show.

Daniel and the artist formerly known as Gabi Wilson showed off their duality throughout the stripped-down set. Holding an acoustic guitar, Caesar was dressed in all black while the usually mysterious Wilson wore an all-white robe.

Their backdrops also added to the sense of balance. Daniel’s digital screen showed him in a blue and pink sunrise, while Gabi’s screen showed a purple and orange sunset. Background singers stood between the stars and the screens.

H.E.R. celebrated the momentous occasion on Instagram. “My debut TV performance was a beautiful moment,” she wrote. “Lucky to have shared the stage with my friend and one of my FAVORITE artists @DanielCaesar. Thank you @JimmyKimmelLive.”

More H.E.R. music is on the way. In fact, she recently teased collaborative work with Rihanna. “We’ve got some secret projects coming up,” she said.

“Best Part” appeared on H.E.R.’s Vol. 2: The B Sides, which dropped last year. It can also be found up on Daniel Caesar’s debut album Freudian.
