New Music: Alessia Cara - 'A Little More'
A month after dropping “Growing Pains,” Alessia Cara is back with “A Little More,” which she wrote and produced.
On the stripped-down acoustic track, the Canadian songstress reflects on young love. “Hey you, hey Mr. Knock on My Door, I’m sorry that I’ve been emotions galore,” she sings. “Am I crazy for wanting a little bit more? A little more of you, a little more, a little more of you.”
Cara, who celebrates her 22nd birthday today, also debuted an accompanying video, comprised of home videos she put together. “I made a song in my basement and thought I’d release it tomorrow as a small gift for my birthday,” she wrote on Instagram.
Last month, Alessia performed “Growing Pains” for the first time on “The Tonight Show.” She will perform the song again tonight on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
