Chance the Rapper, SZA, & Travis Scott to Celebrate Mac Miller at Benefit Concert

Mac Miller’s family and friends will celebrate his life with a benefit concert later this month.

“Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life,” in partnership with Live Nation, will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the same day Miller was scheduled to host his “Swimming” tour in L.A. The event was organized by his mother, Karen Meyers, his father, Mark McCormick, and brother, Miller McCormick, along with Christian and Kelly Clancy of 4 Strikes management.

Some of Miller’s famous friends will be on hand to celebrate his life including Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Miguel, John Mayer, Ty Dolla $ign, Vince Staples, Action Bronson, Anderson .Paak, Njomza, Dylan Reynolds, Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt, J.I.D, Thundercat, and more.

Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. PST. Proceeds will benefit the launch of the Mac Miller Circles Fund (MMCF), which will provide programming, resources, and opportunities to youth from underserved communities through exploration in the arts.

“The support we’ve experienced is evident in this amazing line-up and is a testament to Malcolm’s incredible life,” said Karen Meyers. “His father, brother, and I are beyond thankful to everyone who is working to make this concert happen along with every fan and every friend for continuing to support Malcolm and his vision. He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that.”

Miller died from an apparent drug overdose at his Studio City, Calif. home on Sept. 7. He was 26.
