With a Grammy win under his belt, Jay Rock keeps the momentum going by unleashing his new song “The Other Side.”
The Watts rapper links up with fellow Cali natives Mozzy and DCMBR for a strictly West Coast banger. Rock and Mozzy hold it down with their street-ready rhymes, while DCMBR supplies the soulful hook.
Earlier this month, Rock won his first Grammy for Best Rap Performance for “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake.
He is now readying a new album, the follow-up to last year’s critically-acclaimed Redemption. “It’s just giving me more motivation and inspiration to keep doing what I do,” he told Rap-Up last year.
