Fabolous and Emily B Break Up

It’s over for Fabolous and Emily B.

After more than a decade together, the Brooklyn rapper and his longtime girlfriend have called it quits. The former couple have two sons together—Johan, 11, and Jonas, 4.

Sources tell TMZ that Fabolous has already moved on following the split. He was photographed eating lunch with another woman at a Mexican restaurant in New Jersey last week.

The relationship hit a rough patch when Fabolous was arrested in March 2018 following a physical altercation with Emily B. He was indicted by a grand jury last October on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon.

The couple got back together following the incident. Earlier this year, Fabolous struck a plea deal in the domestic violence case and avoided jail time.

UPDATE: Fabolous has denied TMZ’s “bogus” report that he and Emily B are done, and has even threatened legal action for defamation. He claims the woman pictured in the photo with him was a teacher and the two were having a “lunch meeting.”

“These blogs are making fake stories & breaking up families,” he wrote on Instagram. “Complicating people’s lives for a story!! For some clicks. @tmztv_ ran a baseless story with no confirmations from me or @emilyb_ I LOVE EMILY B.”

However, sources close to Emily tell TMZ that the two haven’t been together for nearly a year. It was her decision to call off the relationship. Fab is still trying to work it out and save his family, but it may be too late.

Emily alluded to the breakup on Instagram Stories, writing, “My mental health is a priority over any friendship or relationship. I’ll lose anyone or anything before I lose myself.”
