Summer Walker & Ari Lennox Talk Dating Apps, Social Media, & Monogamy

  /  10.09.2019

Fresh off the release of her debut album Over It, Summer Walker sat down with one of her favorite people, Ari Lennox, for a candid and hilarious conversation for Apple Music.

In between sips of wine, R&B’s new queens discussed everything they are over—from dating apps to periods to social media.

“I feel too addicted to it and I just wanna be done with it and start walking outside—just walk and be with my dog,” said the Dreamville songstress, while Summer concurred, “It’s an app, relax. If it gets deleted tomorrow, I think you’ll actually have nothing to talk about in life.”

During the eight-minute convo, they also shared their thoughts on monogamy. “I’ve never made it to a year. They’ve all been like six months,” said Ari, who said she’s “over guys…but not really.” Summer, who showed off her ass implants, also revealed that she’s been with a woman before sharing her type (“Little studs”).

Ari ended by asking Summer why she titled her album Over It. “I’m so over it. I’m over it all. I’m over performing,” she said while Ari urged her not to quit. “I don’t think you should quit ’cause you’re phenomenal and you’re amazing and I just want you to know I’ve been there.”
