Busta Rhymes is looking a lot slimmer these days.
The rapper is showing off his impressive body transformation on Instagram, just days before the release of his new album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God. In the before photo, an out-of-shape Busta shares a side profile of his overweight belly before revealing his six-pack abs from his many hours in the gym.
His fit physique is the result of lots of hard work and dedication, which he hopes will inspire others. “DON’T EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF!! LIFE BEGINS RIGHT NOW!!! MY DEDICATION IS DIFFERENT!!” said Busta. “I WOULD NEVER PUT OUT AN ALBUM AND NOT BE IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!! I RESPECT MYSELF TOO MUCH AND I RESPECT Y’ALL TOO MUCH!!! I’M ONLY HERE TO INSPIRE!!”

He received supportive comments from friends including Swizz Beatz, Naomi Campbell, and Xzibit, who applauded his weight loss journey.
But not everyone was kind. 50 Cent took the opportunity to take a shot at Busta by posting his before pic alongside comedian Tracy Morgan with a similar gut.
“They really kinda look alike right LOL,” 50 commented before adding, “he gonna curse me out when he wake up.”
Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, the sequel to Busta’s 1998 album, arrives Oct. 30 featuring the single “YUUUU” with Anderson .Paak.
