  /  10.28.2020

Ty Dolla $ign brought the vibes home for his Tiny Desk Concert.

On the heels of his new album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the L.A. hitmaker returned to NPR’s series for his second performance. Joined by his band Jesus People and frequent collaborator Skrillex, Ty delivered a captivating 15-minute set featuring new songs as well as some fan favorites.

He kicked off his stripped-down jam session with his Kid Cudi collaboration “Temptations” followed by his Wiz Khalifa collab “Something New.” He then took it back with two of his biggest hits, “Or Nah” and “Paranoid.” He switched gears for “Ego Death,” capping off the six-song set with “Your Turn.”

Ty visited NPR last year, where he paid tribute to Mac Miller with an emotional performance of “Cinderella.”

His long-awaited album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign arrived Friday featuring collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Quavo, Roddy Ricch, Jhené Aiko, Kehlani, and more. It is expected to make a top 5 debut with around 45,000 equivalent album units.
