Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa Team Up in 'Demeanor' Video
You can’t say Pop without Smoke.
Pop Smoke’s legacy lives on in the video for “Demeanor,” his collaboration with Dua Lipa. Directed by Nabil, the fairytale-themed clip takes place at a bourgeois dinner party at a faraway castle. The Brooklyn rapper appears in a painting before his spirit comes to life. Dressed to the nines, Dua Lipa makes a grand entrance alongside her dancers before joining the lavish festivities.
The collaboration came together following a viral video clip of Pop listening to Dua’s “One Kiss” in 2020.
“I’m so proud to be on this amazing song and to celebrate Pop as such a great artist,” said Dua. “I was really touched when Steven Victor from his label showed me the video of Pop dancing to ‘One Kiss’ and told me how much Pop liked my music. Hope everyone enjoys the video, it was great working with Nabil again and it’s one of my favorite videos.”
“Demeanor” appears on Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith, which debuted at No. 1 and spawned collaborations with Kanye West, Chris Brown, and Pharrell.
