Rita Ora Talks Rihanna, Relationships, & Rumors with 'The Breakfast Club'

Rita Ora and The Breakfast Club

“This is putting Rita on blast day,” said Rita Ora during her visit to Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club.”

The British bombshell was in the hot seat when she met Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy for the first time, and nothing was off limits.

The 23-year-old discussed the comparisons to Rihanna, her role as Mia Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and relationships with Rob Kardashian, Bruno Mars, and current boyfriend Calvin Harris.

When Charlamagne asked if she was “boinking” her Roc Nation boss Jay Z, Rita shot back: “Don’t you ever disrespect Beyoncé again like that in your entire life.”

She has collaborated with DJ Mustard and Diplo on her upcoming sophomore album, due in September. “This album for me is the most important thing ever,” said Rita.

Plus, see her reaction to Mimi Faust’s sex tape and find out how she gets down in the bedroom (“I like a whip”).

On being labeled a “Rihanna clone”: “First of all, I love her. I think she’s dope. All those kinda comparisons, it’s kinda pretty flattering. But it’s better to be compared to somebody [like her] than to be compared to Shrek or somebody.”

On her rumored rift with Rihanna: “It’s all rumors. The good thing is I’m on my own thing. She does her own thing. We don’t need to watch what each other are doing, just do your own thing.”

On her “Black Widow” collaborator Iggy Azalea: “Iggy’s my homegirl. She actually supported me on my first-ever tour like two years ago when she had ‘Pussy’ out and nobody knew that song. … It’s kinda nice to see her evolve finally.”

On her relationship with Rob Kardashian: “It was a phase and it was a moment in my life and now it’s onwards and upwards.”
