Machine Gun Kelly, The Game Debut in Top 10

Machine Gun Kelly and The Game both enter the top 10 this week.

The Cleveland rapper scores his second top 10 album with General Admission, which debuts at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 56,000 equivalent album units (49,000 in pure album sales). His 2012 debut Lace Up peaked at No. 4 with 51,000 sold in its first week. MGK also earns his first No. 1s on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Rap Albums charts.

He took to Instagram to celebrate the good news. “just got the call !!! i can’t even sit still. this shit doesn’t even seem real … HappiEST morning ever. #1,” said MGK.

He’s not the only one with reason to celebrate. The Game’s The Documentary 2.5 arrives at No. 6 with 48,000 units (42,000 in album sales), his second top 10 in a week following The Documentary 2, which debuted at No. 2 a week ago (it falls to No. 11 this week).

Pentatonix takes the top spot (98,000), while Demi Lovato debuts at No. 2 with Confident. The Weeknd holds at No. 3 with 62,000 units, and Fetty Wap’s self-titled debut drops 4-5 (48,000).

Selena Gomez’ Revival slides 1-7 (46,000), Drake and Future’s mixtape What a Time to Be Alive moves 5-8 (43,000), and Taylor Swift’s 1989 falls 6-9 (37,000).
