Drake Ends 430-Week Hot 100 Streak

  /  08.15.2017

It’s a sad day for the 6 God.

Drake is nowhere on the Hot 100 for the first time since his 2009 debut, marking the end of an epic 430-week run, according to Chart Data.

Drizzy has become an integral part of the Hot 100 throughout his career. In March, he even broke the record for the most Hot 100 hits among solo artists (154), besting his mentor Lil Wayne, who was the previous record holder.

Although Aubrey isn’t on the Hot 100 this week, he’s still making waves on the Billboard 200. In fact, he’s dominating on that chart with More Life (No. 13), Views (No. 33), Take Care (No. 76), Nothing Was the Same (No. 119), and If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (No. 126). His Future joint project What a Time to Be Alive is also on the chart at No. 188.

More hits are likely on the way. After turning up at OVO Fest this month, he has announced that he is already working on his next album in Toronto. Plus, he might have a joint project with The Weeknd in the works.
