Rae Sremmurd Performs 'Black Beatles' on 'Ellen'
The “Black Beatles” bring the Mannequin Challenge to “Ellen.”
On Monday (Jan. 16), Rae Sremmurd performed their biggest hit to date on the daytime talk show. Kicking things off with their viral sensation, the duo asked fans to freeze before wildin’ out all over the stage.
Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi lived up to their lively, rambunctious reputation. Uncle Jxm danced on the show’s interview couch and in the middle of the set, even taking some selfies with Ellen. Lee, meanwhile, added new lyrics to commemorate the performance.
“On the ‘Ellen’ show singing,” he sang. “We’re on the ‘Ellen’ show singin’! Thank you so much, Ellen!”
That’s not all for “Black Beatles.” Beyoncé protégées Chloe x Halle gave the No. 1 smash the remix treatment over the weekend, performing an acoustic cover. Listen to their mellow revamp of the rowdy Mike WiLL Made-It-produced banger below.
