  /  01.17.2019

Chance the Rapper is making the band.

The Chicago rapper will star alongside the Backstreet Boys in a commercial for Doritos, which is set to air during the Super Bowl next month. The 30-second ad will introduce Doritos new Flamin’ Hot Nacho flavor.

Doritos hinted at what to expect in a brief teaser called “Now It’s Hot.” Chance joins the boy band as a sixth member in the clip, which ends with them dueting on the Backstreet Boys’ ’90s hit “I Want It That Way.”

“To celebrate a unique flavor like Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho, we knew we had to partner with artists our fans would be thrilled to see during the big game,” Frito-Lay executive Leslie Vesper told USA Today. “Chance the Rapper, one of today’s hottest hip-hop stars, and the iconic Backstreet Boys helped us create a Super Bowl ad unlike anything that’s been seen before.”

Last year, Doritos partnered with Mountain Dew on a Super Bowl commercial starring Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott.

The Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho ad will air during Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, Feb. 3.
