Teairra Mari Arrested for Drunk Driving
Teairra Mari was arrested for allegedly driving drunk and unlicensed, with only three wheels on her car.
According to TMZ, cops pulled over the “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star early Saturday morning (June 22) after they saw her driving out of the Midtown Tunnel into Queens in a 2014 Dodge Charger, which had sparks shooting up from the front of the vehicle.
Officers noticed that the front passenger side tire dislodged and that the bumper was grinding the pavement, setting off sparks. She eventually came to a full stop and cops performed field sobriety tests.
According to Page Six, Mari allegedly had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.304, more than three times the legal limit. She was arrested and booked for DWI and driving without a license.
She was charged with DWI, violation of court-ordered ignition interlock, illegal tinted windows, illegal operation of a vehicle, unlicensed operator of a motor vehicle, among other things.
In May 2018, Mari sued 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, accusing them of engaging in a plan to sexually objectify and humiliate her by posting a sexually-graphic video and photo. A judge dismissed the revenge porn lawsuit and ordered Mari to pay $30,618 to cover part of 50’s legal bills.
50, who is still trying to collect payment, reacted to Mari’s arrest on social media. “Jesus take the wheel,” he tweeted. “A bitch drunk I still want my money Monday. (Dirt Bag!).”
