Stream DaBaby's New Album 'KIRK'

DaBaby has become one of 2019’s biggest success stories. Seven months after dropping his Baby on Baby project, which spawned the top 10 hit “Suge,” the rap phenom—whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk—keeps the momentum going with his new album KIRK.

The Charlotte rapper calls on some heavy-hitters for the 13 tracks, which include appearances from Nicki Minaj (“iPhone”), Migos (“Raw S**t”), Kevin Gates (“Pop Star”), and Lil Baby and Moneybagg Yo (“Toes”). He digs deep on the introspective “Intro,” where he reflects on losing his father, while sharing his testimony on “Gospel” featuring Chance the Rapper, Gucci Mane, and YK Osiris.

“There’s plenty to learn from me and about me from this project. It just shows my versatility, my range as an artist,” the 27-year-old MC told “Big Boy’s Neighborhood.” “It gives you way more of my personality. Y’all gonna get an entirely new sound, an entirely new wave of music. What people expect from me plus more.”

And his star is only getting bigger. After collaborating with J. Cole, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Post Malone, DaBaby continues to fulfill his destiny. “It don’t really surprise me what’s going on. It was already written,” he said.
