The Game Shoots His Shot with LeToya Luckett

  /  02.28.2021

The Game is taking a shot at love with LeToya Luckett.

While the ladies were swooning over D’Angelo during Saturday night’s Verzuz, the Compton rapper was thirsting over the former Destiny’s Child singer. Game popped up in the group chat during the livestream to let LeToya know just how he feels.

“@letoyaluckett heard your single & your song on…. 👀,” he wrote.

LeToya has not responded to The Game, but she is newly single. Last month, she and her husband Tommicus Walker announced that they were getting a divorce after three years of marriage. The couple will remain co-parents to their two children.

“After very prayerful consideration, Tommicus and I have decided to get a divorce,” Luckett wrote on social media. “It is my deepest desire for us to be loving co-parents and keep a peaceful environment out of respect for our children.”

In addition to The Game’s impromptu comment, D’Angelo’s Verzuz featured several surprise onstage moments. The reclusive R&B singer brought out Method Man and Redman to perform “Left & Right” and “Break Ups 2 Make Ups,” while H.E.R. joined D’Angelo for his Lauryn Hill duet “Nothing Even Matters” at the legendary Apollo Theater.
