Nicki Minaj Shares New Photos of Son

Nicki Minaj’s son steals the spotlight once again.

After making his social media debut in January, the rap queen is giving fans another rare glimpse of the heir to her throne.

The proud mom revealed her 8-month-old son, who she calls “Papa Bear,” in a behind-the-scenes video to promote her new song with Drake and Lil Wayne, “Seeing Green.” Dressed in a Burberry down onesie, the stylish mama’s boy can be seen flying on a private jet with his mother. In another photo, Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty holds their son in his arms while they pose for their first Christmas portrait.

Even while working, Nicki can’t stop thinking about her son. During a backyard photo shoot, she tells someone off camera to take him inside because it’s too hot. “Get him out this hot sun,” she says.

The clip also features footage from her Instagram Live session with Drake, as well as throwback footage of her and her Young Money brothers Drake and Lil Wayne.

Nicki, who has yet to reveal her son’s name, has been enjoying motherhood. “I’ve also been completely overwhelmed with joy & fulfillment in the world of Papa Bear,” she gushed to fans in an open letter. “Each day creates a new & fascinating, magical memory that I hide far away into a little cute compartment of my heart; vowing never to forget any of it.”

She also revealed that Papa Bear loves watching Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and recently said “mama.” While he did not enjoy listening to rap when she was pregnant, he was “bopping” to “Seeing Green” before she released it.
