Kanye West's 'Nah Nah Nah' Remix with DaBaby Pulled From Streaming Services

DaBaby is feeling more of the fallout from his homophobic comments.

A remix of Kanye West’s song “Nah Nah Nah,” featuring DaBaby and 2 Chainz, was quietly removed from streaming services over the weekend. The remix was released in November 2020, but is no longer available on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, TIDAL, and other platforms. The original “Nah Nah Nah” has also been pulled from streaming services.

This comes in the wake of the backlash to DaBaby’s homophobic comments made onstage at Rolling Loud Miami on July 25. He has been dropped from several festival lineups including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Day N Vegas, while brands like boohooMAN have cut ties with him. Celebrities including Dua Lipa, Questlove, Elton John, and Madonna have also condemned his offensive remarks.

DaBaby addressed the controversy in his video for “Giving What It’s Supposed to Give,” which ended with a message: “Don’t fight hate with hate. My apologies for being me the same way you want the freedom to be you.”

Last week, he issued a formal statement apologizing to the LGBTQ+ community. “I want to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community for the hurtful and triggering comments I made,” he wrote. “Again, I apologize for my misinformed comments about HIV/AIDS and I know education on this is important. Love to all. God bless.”

However, the apology has since been deleted from his social media as critics question his sincerity.
