Cardi B Hospitalized for Stomach Pain

Cardi B is recovering after being rushed to the hospital for stomach pain.

On Wednesday night, the Grammy-winning rapper took to Twitter to reveal that she was experiencing “real bad stomach problems” for the past four days. She decided to go to the ER on Tuesday night and is now feeling “way better.”

“Honestly cause I been having some real bad stomach problems for 4 days,” she told her nearly 11 million followers. “I went to the ER last night and I’m feeling way better.”

She also shared a photo of her hospital ID bracelet showing her age and the day of her visit, March 31. But despite the health scare, her condition continues to improve. “Hopefully tomorrow I will feel no more pain,” added Cardi.

The tweet, which was later deleted, had some wondering whether Cardi had coronavirus, but she did not address the speculation. Cardi went viral for her rant about the virus, which was turned into a hit song by DJ iMarkkeyz. “Coronavirus” entered at No. 9 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales and No. 13 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts with 626,000 U.S. on-demand streams.

She remained in good spirits and joked with her fans about dropping her long-awaited single. But she later revealed that it was an April Fools’ prank.
