A$AP Ferg and Nicki Minaj Ready New Single 'Move Ya Hips'

A$AP Ferg and Nicki Minaj have another one on the way.

After much anticipation, Ferg has announced that his new single “Move Ya Hips” featuring Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO will drop Thursday, July 30.

A$AP Rocky first sparked rumors that the song was coming with his tweet on Sunday. “SUMBODY TELL @ASAPferg 2 DROP DAT SHIT WIT HIM N NICKI ASAP,” he tweeted before Nicki responded, “Flacko, I heard it was coming Thursday but I could be wrong.”

Soon after, Ferg confirmed that the song would arrive Thursday. “The Queen is never wrong. ‘Move Ya Hips’ 7/30,” he wrote, adding, “‘Move Ya Hips’ 7/30..let’s go.”

Back in May, DJ Clue teased a new collaboration between the Hood Pope and Queen, which finds them repping their ‘hoods. “Straight from out of Queens, headed to Harlem now,” Nicki can be heard rapping in the 40-second clip before Ferg responds, “I got the panda mink on and it’s brawlin’ now.”

The two previously teamed up on the remix to Ferg’s “Plain Jane” in 2017. It’s unclear where their new collaboration will land, but the A$AP Mob rapper is readying a new project, his first since his 2019 EP Floor Seats. He also recently linked up in the studio with Marilyn Manson.

UPDATE: Ferg has shared a longer snippet of “Move Ya Hips” on Instagram. “The Queen bodied that shit,” said Ferg. “I don’t know who want it with this duo right now. New York’s finest.”
