Daniel Caesar Performs 'Get You' on 'Late Night'

  /  11.22.2017

Daniel Caesar brings his brand of soul to “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

The rising R&B star delivered a rousing performance of his Kali Uchis collaboration “Get You” on the late-night program. Although Kali couldn’t be there to lend a hand, Caesar was backed by a live studio band.

Wearing a black jacket over a white shirt for an understated smooth look, D.C. rocked a pair of adidas Yeezy Boost 700s on his feet for the set. Beneath purple and blue hues, the upstart crooner performed his stirring single, which recently peaked at No. 15 on the Hot R&B Songs chart.

Caesar dropped his debut album, Freudian, in August of this year, featuring songs like “Get You,” “We Find Love,” and “Blessed.” The project peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard 200.

Despite being a newcomer, Caesar is no stranger to late night. In August, he performed “Get You” on “The Late Late Show” and then joined Chance the Rapper on “The Late Show” in September to debut their collaboration “First World Problems.”

Now, the Toronto singer is on his “Freudian Tour,” which is set to continue through Dec. 16, when it comes to a close in his hometown.
