Nicki Minaj Twerks to Celebrate Hot 100 Record

  /  03.21.2017

Shortly after breaking Aretha Franklin’s longstanding record for most Hot 100 entries among women, Nicki Minaj celebrated the news by twerking and wining backstage at Drake’s final “Boy Meets World Tour” stop in London.

Sporting a red leather skirt, the Young Money queen from Queens shook up, down, and side-to-side, while Drizzy performed his dance-ready bangers.

“When u find out u just became the only woman in the history of billboard to have 76 Hot 100 billboard entries,” she captioned the video.

Walked off stage to find out history was made yet again today. #NoFrauds #RegretInYourTears +#ChangedIt charted this week on Billboard & I now hold the title of most Hot 100 entries in the HISTORY of BILLBOARD among women of EVERY genre.

“To my fans: I fkn love u guys more than I’ll ever be able to put in words,” she added. “Thank u so much for your unwavering love & support. God bless each & every one of you. Nicki now has 76 overall entries on the Hot 100. Meanwhile, Aretha has 73, Taylor Swift has 70, and Rihanna has 58. The hits will likely keep on coming. Today (March 21), Nicki announced her appearance on David Guetta’s Lil Wayne-assisted single “Light My Body Up,” which is set to drop on Friday (March 24).

Guetta previously teased the collaboration back in January. “We have a really good combination with Nicki,” he said. “Every time we make records, they’re really incredible and very successful. I think she’s very, very special and we work really good together so it’s exciting. Plus, we have Lil Wayne on top of that. It’s pretty big.”
